Technology support built around how small organizations actually work.
Info Hazard Solutions helps small businesses and organizations manage, improve and understand the technology behind their work. You get practical guidance and experienced support without needing a full internal IT department or an oversized consulting engagement.
Independent technology support grounded in real business needs.

Chicago Area
Onsite service available throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
“You should be able to focus on your work without becoming the accidental IT department.”
Built by someone who has faced the same technology problems.
Info Hazard Solutions grew from years of solving the practical problems small organizations encounter every day: systems inherited without documentation, vendors who understand only one part of the operation, tools that do not work together and technology decisions that consume time needed for the real work.
That experience shaped a straightforward approach. Listen first, explain clearly, address what matters, document the work and remain available when the next need appears.
Clients work directly with the person responsible for understanding the problem and guiding the solution. When a project requires additional capacity or a different specialist, that is discussed honestly before the work begins.
A broad view of technology, grounded in practical implementation.
Business technology rarely fits into one category. A website problem may involve DNS, email, payments or inventory. An unreliable application may actually be a network, access or configuration problem. We look across the entire system before recommending a solution.
See the whole system
We consider devices, networks, accounts, websites, business platforms, security and the people using them together.
Connect technology to the work
Recommendations begin with what the organization needs to accomplish, not with a predetermined product or service package.
Implement the solution
Advice is useful, but many clients also need someone who can configure, migrate, troubleshoot and complete the actual work.
Build internal confidence
We explain systems, document important details and help employees become more capable instead of keeping knowledge unnecessarily hidden.
Small teams with serious dependence on technology.
Info Hazard Solutions is designed for organizations that rely on technology every day but do not need, or are not ready to build, a large internal IT department.
Managed support is generally best suited to teams of approximately 10 to 30 users. Projects, audits and troubleshooting are available to organizations of many sizes.

George Samovsky
George’s relationship with technology began with the instinct to press every button, take things apart and understand why they worked. By high school in the early 2000s, people were already bringing him computers, systems and unfamiliar problems they needed help solving.
Those requests never really stopped. Each new problem became an opportunity to learn, investigate and find a practical solution. In 2011, that continuing work became Info Hazard Solutions.
George has supported technology across schools, solar companies, nonprofit organizations, hospitals, dental offices, e-commerce operations, manufacturers and factories. His experience spans individual computers, Windows environments, servers, databases, networks and the business systems connecting them.
Clients most often recognize his persistence and his ability to make complicated issues understandable. The goal is not only to resolve the immediate problem, but to explain what happened, why the recommended action matters and how to move forward with greater confidence.
Technology beyond the office
George is also a musician with an interest in sound engineering and the technology behind live and creative environments. Audio systems, digital routing, networking and production technology are an emerging area of professional focus.
Bring us the part of technology that is getting in your way.
You do not need to know which service you need or have the problem fully diagnosed. Tell us what is happening, what you are trying to accomplish and where the work has become difficult.
